The Next Memeration, Silver Screen Edition

The powers that be decided they needed to try and get the Next Generation crew up on the Big Screen to add the last chapters to their story, just as they did TOS. To begin with, they wanted a cross-over movie between Picard and Kirk that ended rather badly for Kirk. The crew managed four movies before the plug was pulled, and we didn’t hear from the Next Generation crew again until the Picard series started up. And just like the TOS movies, fans think the even-numbered movies were better than odd. Funny how that works.
