About Clan of the Red Band. Clan of the Red Band was started at Sierra Vista Hospital – E-Unit. The idea behind it was to have a group that got together to support each other through our stay. The red band in his case is the red band that some of us get that give us more activities and ability to go to the lunchroom to have meals. The overall goal is not to discriminate against even those without a red band but to act as a support group even after we leave here. There are many people that have issues in life and could use an additional support group to talk with others in a positive environment.
